Andy Rhodes writes on politics and religion and creates music and art. He studied philosophy, history, religion, and marketing at Auburn University and Georgia State University. He earned a Master of Arts in Teaching from Mercer University. He grew up in California, North Carolina, and Alabama. He has lived in Atlanta since 2000. Two of the articles on this site were also published in the politics section of Paste Magazine. He makes a living as a world history teacher in a high school.

Yes, I do put in a whole lot of time into research, dialogue and writing. I’m now 40 and I’ve been doing those things regularly since my early twenties on the subjects of politics, history, philosophy and religion. It’s one of my favorite things to do. One of my central passions in life.
Hopefully, readers of my articles will discover there useful information that they might not have encountered through other sources.
I’m trying to write on politics and religion professionally. Last Monday, I took one big step in that direction. One of my articles was published:
